The Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the Tamilnadu Housing Board proceedings No.C2/49176/04, dated 22.01.2007 and thereby to quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to fix the simple interest in the light of the G.O.No.292 dated 09.11.2006 resolution passed by the Tamilnadu High Level Committee of Tamil Nadu Housing Board by excluding 6 years delay on the side of Tamilnadu Housing Board.

Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the respondent Housing Board would submit that the dispute between the petitioner and the respondents has got resolved and the petitioner got the Sale Deed executed in his favour and hence, nothing survives for further adjudication.

2. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the respondent Housing Board, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. If the statement made is not correct, it is open to the petitioner to reopen the same. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
