Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to To Modify the Interim Order dated 13.02.2017 in so far as the condition to deposit a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs only) to the Arasu Cable TV operation towards arrears. (in WMP.4607/17 in WP.No.2813/17) Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.SVENKATACHALAPATHY SENIOR COUNSEL FOR M/S.K.RAJASHRINIVAS, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.A.N.THAMBIDURAI Special Government Pleader on behalf of the Respondents the court made the following order:- This petition has been filled to modify the Interim order dated 13.02.2017 in so far as the condition to deposit a sum of rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five lakhs only) to the Arasu Cable TV operation towards arrears.

Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner submitted that

the petitioner has nothing to do with the arrears payable to the Arasu Cable TV operation. Therefore, the order dated 13.02.2017, directing the petitioner to pay the amount towards arrears to be modified.

Having regard to the submission made by the learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, I am inclined to modify the order dated 13.02.2017 to the effect that the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.2,50,000/-(Rupees Two Lakhs and Fifty Thousand only) as against a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- within a period four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. On such deposit, the respondents are directed to deseal the premises of the petitioner.

Accordingly, the petition for modification of the interim order dated 13.02.2017, is ordered.
