Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to make necessary entry in the service register of the writ petitioner as per the direction given by the 1st respondent by implementing the order of 1st respondent vide in his proceeding in Na.Ka.No. 667/AA3/2024 dated 18.09.2024 by considering the representation dated 20.01.2025 made by the petitioner and to pass appropriate orders thereon within a time to be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent/the Block Educational Officer, Block Educational Office, Krishnagiri District to make necessary entry in the service register of the writ petitioner in accordance with the directions of the 1st respondent/the District Educational Officer (Elementary Education), Hosur, Krishnagiri District.

The 1st respondent had passed an order dated 18.09.2024. The petitioner had given a representation on 20.01.2025 calling upon the 2nd respondent to comply with the directions issued by the 1st respondent. 3.

In the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, it had been pointed out that the writ petitioner had been initially appointed as Secondary Grade Assistant on 29.01.1991. Her probation was declared on 31.08.1994 and she was thereafter promoted to various posts and finally as Headmaster of Middle School on 01.08.2013. The petitioner had given a representation claiming disparity, placing reliance on the Revised Scale of Pay Rules, 2009 i.e., VI Pay Commission. In this regard, the 1st respondent had passed proceedings in Na.Ka.No.667/AA3/2024 on 18.09.2024. The 2nd respondent, who is subordinate to the 1st respondent is under an obligation to make necessary entry in the service register of the petitioner in 2\4

accordance with the directions issued by the 1st respondent. Claiming that the 2nd respondent had not taken any effective steps, the present writ petition has been filed.

Mrs. Mythreyee Chandru, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for R1 and R2.

A direction is given to the 2 nd respondent to make necessary entry in the service register of the petitioner on or before 31.03.2025 following the directions already issued by the 1 st respondent.
