ORDER
The petitioner has filed this contempt petition to punish the respondents for disobeying the order of this Court in W.P.No.28903 of 2012 dated 27.02.2013.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has withdrawn the writ petition, which stands recorded in W.A.No.1388 of 2013 vide Judgment dated 31.08.2017. The relevant portion of the Judgment reads as under:- "3. In the light of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for first and second respondents (writ petitioners), the order, dated 27.02.2013, passed in W.P.No.28903 of 2012 is recalled, and the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. As a result of which, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Appeal, and therefore, the Writ Appeal is closed. If the writ petitioners are so advised, and if it is open to them under law, they are liberty to invoke remedy under Section 24(2) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed." 2/3
3. Therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in this contempt petition. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed.
