O R D E R
This Civil Revision Petition has been filed to dispose of the suit filed in O.S.No.16 of 2014 on the file of the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Thiruvannamalai, Thiruvannamalai District expeditiously.
2. The petitioners are the plaintiffs and the respondents are the defendants in the suit in O.S.No.16 of 2014 on the file of the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Thiruvannamalai. The petitioners filed the suit to direct the respondents to vacate and deliver the actual physical possession of the property to the petitioners.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondents have not filed the written statement till date, and the trial Court is also lenient in granting adjournments to the respondents right from the date of filing the suit, due to which, the petitioners are put to great hardship and are deprived of their rights. Under the said circumstances, the petitioners have come forward with the present revision petition, praying for a direction to the learned trial Judge to dispose of the suit within the time that may be fixed by this Court.
4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.
5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and considering the limited scope of prayer sought for in the civil revision petition, and since the suit is pending from the year 2014, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the matter, I direct the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Thiruvannamalai, to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.16 of 2014, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, in any event, within six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
