Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to dispose the representation dated 07.09.2019 for grant of patta to petitioner's property measuring extent of 3000 sq.ft situated in S.No.387/1A, Thandurai Village, Avadi Taluk, Thiruvallur District within the Registration District of Chennai-South and Registration Sub-District of Avadi, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

This writ petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to dispose the representation dated 07.09.2019 for grant of patta to the petitioner's property measuring extent of 3000 sq.ft situated in S.No.387/1A, Thandurai Village, Avadi Taluk, Thiruvallur District within the Registration District of Chennai-South and Registration SubDistrict of Avadi, within a time frame fixed by this Court.
2. On written instructions, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that on the representation dated 07.09.2019, the second respondent perusing the documents produced by the petitioner and seeks further two weeks time to pass orders.
3. Considering the above submission, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 07.09.2019, after issuance of the notice tot he petitioner and counter parties, if any and after giving an opportunity of hearing to them, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
