This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry in Crime No.not known/2021 on the file of the respondent police.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (crl.side) would submit that the petitioner is an accused in Crime No.75 of 2021 pending on the file of the respondent. He would submit that the respondent police is not harassing the petitioner. 3.Under such circumstances, once the regular FIR has been registered, the question of "Not to harass" will not arise. Any direction issued by this Court at this stage will amount to interfering with the investigation conducted by the respondent police.
