This contempt petition has been filed against the noncompliance of the order and direction issued by this Court in W.P.No.37091 of 2015, dated 20.11.2015.

2. Mr.N.Ramachandran, District Adi Dravidar Welfare Officer, Erode is present. The learned Government Advocate https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ appearing for the respondent on instructions from the

District Adi Dravidar Welfare Officer, Erode submitted that the petitioner is not entitled for the relief sought for in the writ petition, in view of the G.O.Ms.No.63, Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department, dated 01.04.1997 and the representation of the petitioner was rejected by the Director of Adi-Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Officer, Erode, which was also communicated to the petitioner.

3. In the light of the above submissions, this contempt petitioner is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the order of rejection in the manner known to law.
