ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus seeking to direct the respondent to consider the representation dated 29.10.2022 to permit the petitioner to run bunk shop in the Anna Nagar to Thirumangalam Main Road.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he is suffering from 70% permanent disability and facing difficulties in running the day to day life. Therefore, made a representation to the respondents on 29.10.2022 to permit the petitioner to run the bunk shop in the platform opposite to HP Petrol Bunk situated at Anna Nagar to Thirumangalam Main Road, which is pending without consideration till date. Hence, this petition.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the only Town Vending Committee has to consider such representation. However, Town Vending Committee has not been constituted by the Government so far and the moment the Page 2 / 4

Town Vending Committee is constituted, the petitioner may give a fresh application for consideration.

4. Such view of the matter, this Court directs the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the Town Vending Committee, when it is constituted, and on such representation, if any being made, the Town Vending Committee shall pass appropriate order(s) on merits and in accordance with law within a period of one month thereafter.
