This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to deal with the application submitted by the petitioner who is seeking for patta with respect to the subject property in S.No.575 measuring an extent of 1500 Square feet.
2.Heard Mr.R.Sankarasubbu, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents.
3.The petitioner is seeking right and title over the subject property through a registered Sale Deed dated 03.03.2006 registered as Document No.552 of 2006. Through this Sale Deed, the petitioner purchased an extent of 1500 square feet in S.No.575. According to the petitioner, there is a large extent of layout and the owners of the other plots had applied for patta and patta was also granted in their 2/4
favour. However, the application submitted by the petitioner was not considered and hence, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to submit an online application before the 2nd respondent by fulfilling all the procedures. On receipt of the same, the 2nd respondent shall process the application and issue necessary orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the fresh online application submitted by the petitioner. 5.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
