O R D E R

This petition is filed seeking transfer of H.M.O.P.No.83 of 2020 pending on the file of the Family Judge of Family Court, Pondicherry and transfer the same to the Family Court Judge at Chennai.

2. The objection to the transfer raised by the respondent is that the petitioner herein is not residing in India and she is working abroad and she has authorised her sister residing at Tindivanam to represent her before the Court.

3. Considering the fact that Tindivanam is much closer to Pondicherry and also taking note of the no objection given by https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the learned counsel for the respondent for the power application being ordered, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed with a direction that the Family Court, Pondicherry shall permit the power agent of the petitioner Mrs.Dhileeba to represent her before the Family Court. Parties have also agreed in principal that both are ready for a mutual consent divorce. Considering the submissions, a direction is issued to the learned Family Court Judge that, in case parties want to negotiate the terms of the settlement, the learned Judge, Family Court, Pondicherry shall refer the matter for Mediation to workout the terms of the settlement.
