ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register the case on complaint dated 21st May 2016 in CSR No. 360 of 2016 and initiate legal action acting in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the Respondent.

3. On the complaint dated 21.05.2016 given by the petitioner, a petition enquiry is pending in CSR No.360 of 2016. On a reading of the complaint dated 21.05.2016, it is seen that the petitioner has not even stated the date, he paid the amount of Rs.3,50,000/- to the opposite party.

The complaint essentially appears to be a civil dispute and hence, no positive direction can be issued to the respondent police to register an FIR.

In view of the above, the criminal original petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
