This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent either to remove or grant permission to the petitioner for removing the drainage canal situated on his property comprised in T.S.No.18/5, [Old Survey Number : 510], situated at "Bhagavathi Amman Nagar", 12th ward Block 3, No.4, Velampalayam Village [Old No.15 Velampalayam Village], Tiruppur by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 05.05.2020.
2. When the matter is taken up today, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that they are ready to shift the drainage canal in the petitioner's land to some other place.
3. In view of the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the respondent, the respondent is directed to shift the drainage canal which is in the petitioner's land to some other place within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. 2/4
There shall be no order as to costs.
