..Respondents Prayer:- Petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records relating to the termination order dated 05.02.2010 passed by the 4th respondent and quash the same and consequently to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to reinstate the petitioner Mr.J.S.M.R.D. Pandian in his earlier position as Senior Engineer (Production) CAD-M.G.I.A. With continuous service, backwages and all other benefits. For Petitioner: Mrs.V.Srimathi for Mr.V.Raghavachari

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to quash the order of termination dated 05.02.2010 passed by the 4th respondent and consequently to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to reinstate the petitioner Mr.J.S.M.R.D. Pandian in his earlier position as Senior Engineer (Production) CAD-M.G.I.A. With continuous service, back wages and all other benefits.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, both the petitioner as well as Mr.K.Vasanthakumar, Asst. General Manager - HR for the 4th respondent appeared before this Court and submitted that both the petitioner as well as 4th respondent have settled the matter amicably . Both the petitioner and 4th respondent filed a joint memo of compromise dated 26.08.2019 duly signed by both the parties as well as their respective counsel.

3. In view of the compromise entered into between the parties, Mr.K.Vasanthakumar, Asst. General Manager - HR for the 4th respondent handed over a Demand Draft bearing No.279449 dated 20.08.2019 for a sum of Rs.17,00,000/- drawn on IDBI Bank, Nandhanam Branch, Chennai issued in favour of the petitioner viz. J.S.Mohanraj Durai Pandian and the same has been received by the petitioner before this Court.

4. Being satisfied that the matter has been amicably settled, the joint memo of compromise is recorded. In view of the joint memo of compromise entered into between the parties, this writ petition filed by the petitioner is closed.

5. The joint memo of compromise shall form part of this order. No costs.
