Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first, second and third respondents to pass an order upon the petitioner's representation dated 05.01.2024 with respect to delete the name of the 6th respondent, by wrongly added his name in the petitioner's ancestors' properties in S.Nos.262-I, 263-B, A2, 263-AII, 263A/2 situated at Renderipattu Village, Polur Taluk in Tiruvannamalai District and also to issue a fresh patta to the petitioner.

Mr.T.Arun Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for respondents 1 to 5. Since this writ petition is being disposed of without passing any adverse orders against the sixth respondent, affecting his interest, notice to the sixth respondent is dispensed with.
2. This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a writ of Pg.Nos.2/6
mandamus, directing respondents 1 to 3 to pass an order upon the petitioner's representation dated 05.01.2024, in and by which, the petitioner sought to delete the name of the 6th respondent, whose name was wrongly added in the petitioner's ancestors' properties in S.Nos.262-I, 263-B, A2, 263-AII, 263A/2, situated at Renderipattu Village, Polur Taluk in Tiruvannamalai District and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 3 to issue a fresh Patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the subject properties.
3. The main grievance of the petitioner is that even though a representation has been given on 05.01.2024, till date, respondents 1 to 3 have not taken any action on the said representation.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondent 1 to 5 and perused the materials available on record.
5. Since this writ petition is filed for Mandamus simpliciter, to direct Pg.Nos.3/6
the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any view or opinion with regard to the merits of the case, directs respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.01.2024, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the sixth respondent herein as well as rival claimants/interested parties/ objectors/aggrieved parties/ adjacent owners of the four boundaries of the subject lands if any, as the case may be, after conducting enquiry into the matter and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be completed within the stipulated time as stated in Circular No.R1/2005632/2022, dated 17.07.2023 issued by the Commissioner of Land Administration.
6. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
