A.No.882 of 2023 A.No.882 of 2023 in C.S.No.138 of 2022 SENTHILKUMAR RAMAMOORTHY,J The plaintiff has filed this application for permission to file reply statement in response to the written statement.

2. In the affidavit in support of this application, it is stated that the defendants asserted in the written statement that payments were made by the defendants in relation to the losses incurred by the factory which was run by the plaintiff's husband. Since the plaintiff's entitlement to partition was denied on that ground, it is stated that it is necessary to file the reply statement.

3. The defendants have objected to this application on the ground that the written statement was filed on 16.11.2022 and that this application is belated.

4. Upon considering the reasons set out in the affidavit in support of this application, I am satisfied that sufficient cause is shown for filing reply statement. Therefore, the application is allowed as prayed for and the Registry is directed to receive the reply statement of the plaintiff.
