ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to update the omitted subdivision in Survey No.208/3AIF and consequently, issue patta in the name of the petitioner for the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, measuring an extent of 1620 sq.ft., based on the petitioner's application dated 07.07.2022, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.According to the petitioner, the subdivision in Survey No.208/3AIF for the property of the petitioner was omitted by the first respondent. Therefore, the petitioner seeks for updation of the omitted subdivision in Survey No.208/3AIF by the first respondent. The petitioner also seeks for a consequential direction for issuance of patta in his name for the property, morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition measuring an extent of 1620 sq.ft.. The petitioner has filed supporting documents along with this application dated 07.07.2022. 3.Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.No prejudice would be caused to the first respondent if the petitioner's application dated 07.07.2022 seeking for updation of the omitted subdivision in Survey No.208/3AIF and for issuance of patta in his name for the property, morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, measuring an extent of 1620 sq.ft., is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections from the neighbouring land owners if any and any other third party whom the first respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's application.

5.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's application dated 07.07.2022 seeking for updation of the omitted subdivision in Survey No.208/3AIF and consequently issue patta in the name of the petitioner for the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, measuring an extent of 1620 sq.ft., after hearing the objections from the neighbouring land owners if any and any other third party whom the

first respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. 16-02-2026 vga
