PRAYER: This criminal original petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS to relax the condition imposed by this Court by order dated 06.01.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.32340 of 2024 that the petitioners shall stay at Chennai and report before the Inspector of Police, R-4, Soundarapandianar Police Station, every day at 10.30 a.m., until further orders. ORDER

This petition has been filed to relax the condition imposed by this Court by order dated 06.01.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.32340 of 2024 that the petitioners shall stay at Chennai and report before the Inspector of Police, R-4, Soundarapandianar Police Station, every day at 10.30 a.m., until further orders.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent police would submit that the petitioners have been regularly complying with the condition imposed by this Court; and that the charge sheet is yet to be filed.

3. Considering the submissions of both sides and the nature of the offence, the condition imposed on the petitioners in Crl.O.P.No.32340 of 2024 on 06.01.2025 is modified to the effect that the petitioners shall report before the respondent police once a week, i.e., on Monday of every week at 10.30 a.m., until further orders.
