ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to re-do and revise the list of candidates under the persons studied in Tamil medium (PSTM) category for the post of Physical Education teacher pursuant to Notification No.05/2017 dated 26.07.2017 issued by 4th respondent, by properly scrutinizing and verifying the genuineness and eligibility of PSTM certificates produced by the candidates and consequently direct the respondents to consider the candidature of the petitioner for selection and appointment to the post of Physical Education Teacher based on merits under MBC// DNC-PSTM category in consideration of representation submitted dt.17.11.2015.

2. With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, this Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that this Court may issue direction to the 4th respondent to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 19.11.2025 within a specified time.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the 4th respondent will consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on the same within a specified time.

5. In view of the above, there will be a direction to the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.11.2025 and pass appropriate orders on the same, in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
