Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the respondent pertaining to the provisional selection list and published in Daily Thanthi on 20.10.2005 insofar as the post of Grade II Police Constables (Men) are concerned and quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to appoint the petitioner as Grade II Police Constable (Men) in the S.C.Quota.

O R D E R

Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that, despite best efforts taken by the counsel for the petitioner, by sending communication to the petitioners, with regard to instructions to go ahead with the case, no communication has been received and no instruction has been received from the petitioners for a long time. Therefore, he had filed a memo in this regard stating that, the letter sent to the petitioners has been returned with an endorsement "Addressee Left without instructions", and therefore, recording such submission, these writ petitions can be disposed of with a liberty to the petitioners to revive the same at a later point of time.

2. Mr.V.Kathirvelu, learned Special Government Pleader appeared on behalf of the respondents.

3. In view of the memo filed by the learned counsel for the petitioners, recording the averments made in the memo dated 10.02.2021, these writ petitions are dismissed for non prosecution/reporting no instructions, however with a liberty to the petitioners to revive the writ petitions at a later point of time, if they are advised to do so on plausible reasons. No costs.
