Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to process the Petitioner's Individual Patta application dated 06/01/2021 wherein the petitioner derives title to this property under a registered Partition Deed dated 25.03.1994, registered as Document No.765 of 1995, SRO-Kotagiri and under Joint Patta No:5372 in accordance with law and pass orders in a time bound manner.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to process the Petitioner's Individual Patta application dated 06/01/2021 wherein the petitioner derives title to this property under a registered Partition Deed dated 25.03.1994, registered as Document No.765 of 1995, SRO-Kotagiri and under Joint Patta No:5372 in accordance with law and pass orders in a time bound manner.

2.Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate entered appearance for the respondent.

3.Since the representation of the petitioner is dated 06.01.2021, which is hardly a month old, this Court does not want to create a situation, where it amounts to discriminate those who are already in the queue.

4.Therefore, this Court directs the respondent to hold an enquiry after the conclusion of the General Elections to the Legislative Assembly - 2021, after issuing notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, provide them a fair and effective hearing, and dispose of the matter through a speaking order within a period of twelve (12) weeks thereafter.
