Writ Petition (Criminal) is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 6th respondent to provide police protection to survey, demarcate and fix the boundary of the land in T.S.No.137/2, measuring an extent of 1232 Sq.ft situated in Block No.6, Ward No.5, Pidari Amman Kovil Street, Thirupapuliyur, Cuddalore by considering the petitioner representation dated 29.01.2026. The present Writ Petition Criminal has been filed seeking a direction to the 6th respondent to provide police protection to survey, demarcate and fix the boundary of the land in T.S.No.137/2, measuring an extent of 1,232 Sq.ft, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 29.01.2026.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner has submitted a representation seeking to survey, demarcate and fix the boundary of his land. He further submitted that if a due request is made by the Surveyor seeking police protection and a date is fixed for the said purpose, adequate protection will be provided for measuring the land.

Recording the same, this Writ Petition Criminal is disposed of. No costs.
