PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to regularize the services of petitioners 1 and 2 as Lecturers in Tamil Nadu Government Colleges Educational Service in Govt. Arts and Science Colleges in terms of the judgment of Hon'ble Supreme Court in Uma Devi's case.

ORDER

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that he is constrained to report 'no instructions', despite having sent several reminders to the petitioners regarding the same.

In view of the same, the writ petition is closed with liberty to restore the same, in case, if the petitioners desires to pursue the writ petition within a reasonable period of time. passed today and will file a copy of the communication with the Registry within one week. The connected miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
