Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records of the fourth respondent comprised in its letter No.P/SC/TN/14/2788 (P.52685) dated 11.01.2010 and quash the same as being arbitrary, illegal, unreasonable and is violative of the provisions of the Petroleum Act, 1934 and the rules framed thereunder and consequently, forbearing the third and fourth respondents from in any manner renewing the licence No.P/SC/TN/14/2788(P52685) issued by the third respondent or issue any fresh licence in favour of the fifth, sixth or eight respondents for storing and selling petroleum products in the petitioner's land comprised in S.No.102/3 and 102/6 and situate in Cuddalore Railway Station Road, Vriddhachalam, Cuddalore District.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the relief sought by the petitioner has become infructuous and therefore, nothing survives in this petition for further adjudication.
