Respondents in all WPs Prayer in all WPs:- Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records in proceedings in Na.Ka.No.Aa2/2652/2016 dated 22.01.2017 on the file of the 1st respondent and quash the same and direct the first respondent to grant patta to the petitioners for land admeasuring 0.01 ares out of 0.64 ares comprised in Survey No.251/2 situated at Vengikal Village and Panchayat, Thiruvannamalai District.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J.] After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions, seeks the permission of this Court to withdraw these writ petitions with a liberty to invoke https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Section 10A of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905, by filing a revision before the Commissioner of Land Administration, Chepauk, Chennai 600 005 and also made an endorsement to that effect.

In the light of the endorsement made, the petitioner is at liberty to file revision before the Commissioner of Land Administration, Chepauk, Chennai 600 005 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and if the papers are otherwise in order, the Commissioner of Land Administration shall entertain the same without raising the issue of limitation and thereafter, consider and dispose of the revision as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law.

Accordingly, these writ petitions are dismissed as withdrawn subject to the above observations. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also dismissed.
