Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the 2nd Respondent in Ref.No.B1/67/2005/CHD, dated 23.06.2005 and quash the same and consequently direct the 2nd Respondent to increase the Petitioner's pensionary benefits on par with his Juniors and pay the arrears of the pensionary benefits with bank interest since 01.08.1994.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, it is represented by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that, the Petitioner passed away and when he contacted the legal heirs of the deceased Petitioner over phone, they informed him that, they are not interested in pursuing the Writ Petition, as all the benefits due to the deceased Petitioner have been granted.
2. Recording the said submissions of the learned counsel for the Petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as abated. If the legal heirs of the deceased Petitioner are interested to pursue the matter, they are at liberty to file a Petition for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Substitution, restore the matter to file and adjudicate the issue. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
