O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been preferred to direct the respondents to provide the information sought for by the petitioner in his representation dated 02.10.2018 to enable him to proceed further as per the provisions of law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has made a representation on 02.10.2018, requesting to provide the information regarding the details of acquisition of the schedule properties from the respondents, as follows:

"(1) date of issuance of notice of acquisition

(2) fixation of compensation

(3) compensation was paid to the landlord

(4) any case was filed for enhancement of compensation if so, details of the case filed by the landlord

(5) if before the Court of law any amount was enhanced, if so said particulars

(6) whether any person claims to be landlord received the compensation amount or not, etc., to enable the petitioner to proceed further by representation dated 03.10.2018."

But so far no order has been passed. Hence the present Writ Petition.

3. Even though the prayer in the Writ Petition is for a direction to the respondents to provide the information, but the said representation is pending before the respondents. This Court feels that it would be suffice to direct the respondents to consider the representation in accordance with law.

4. By considering the facts and circumstances, without expressing any opinion on merits, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the said representation and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four

(4) weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

5. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
