Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Certiorarified mandamus by calling for Notification issued by the 1st respondent in S.O.No.10/2010/TNSEC/ME-2 dated 09-04-2010 and quash the same and direct the respondents to allow the petitioner to continue as the Chairman of Narasingapuram, 3rd grade Municipality, Attur Taluk, Salem District.

COMMON ORDER When the matters were taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner in both the petitions, on instructions, submitted that the relief sought for herein has become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in these writ petitions.

2. In view of the submission so made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, both the writ petitions are dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
