The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.06.2005 and test the petitioner's equipment and give necessary approval for the petitioner's earth quake warning instrument.

2. Heard Mr.M.Muthappan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.T.L.Thirumalaisamy, learned Central Government Standing Counsel appearing for respondents.

3. In the counter affidavit filed by the respondents, it is stated that the equipment of the petitioner was considered by the Experts dealing with the subject of Seismology and found that it lacks required sensitivity/precision. The said report is attached to the counter affidavit filed by the respondents.

4. In the light of the above facts, nothing survives for consideration in this Writ Petition. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
