ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the respondents to disburse the Contributory Pension Scheme amount (Vide CPC No.709696) for the demise of the petitioner's mother of a sum of Rs.92.615/- together with the equal contribution amount of the Government totalling to a sum of Rs.1,98,458/- along with interest, based on the petitioner's representation dated 30.06.2015.

According to the writ petitioner, the mother of the writ petitioner namely Mrs.Santhi, served as a Secondary Grade Teacher in Panchayat Union Middle School, Thennadar, from 18.06.2007. Subsequently, her mother died on 27.02.2012 due to some illness. Thereafter, she approached the respondents requesting to disburse the Contributory Pension Scheme amount for the demise of her mother for the aforesaid period of 56 months Rs.92,615/- together with the equal contribution amount to the Government totalling to a sum of Rs.1,98,458/-. However, she sent a detailed representation to the respondents on 30.06.2015 along with CPS annual statement. On receipt of the aforesaid representation, the respondents have not considered the petitioner's representation dated 30.06.2015. Hence the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.

When the matter was taken up for consideration, Mrs.P.Kavitha, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the aforesaid prayer CPS amount sought for by the petitioner, has been settled by the respondents. Hence, there is no further adjudication is required in this writ petition.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner submitted that he has also agreed the aforesaid statement made by the learned Government Advocate and the said amount of Rs.1,98,458/- credited to the petitioner's bank account to that effect.

5. In view of the aforesaid statement made by the parties concerned, the writ petition is dismissed, has now become infructuous. No costs.
