This petition has been filed seeking to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.60 of 2023 on the file of the first respondent.

2. Heard Mr.T.Muruganatham, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for first respondent.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that investigation has been completed and the case itself has been closed as 'mistake of fact'. A copy of the closure report has also been produced before this Court.

4. In the light of the above development, there shall be a direction to 2/4

the respondent police to file the closure report before the concerned Court after serving RCS notice on the de facto complainant. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
