Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forthwith directing the third respondent to forward the petitioner's name being the senior most eligible and qualified candidate for the post of B.T. Assistant, to the Teachers Recruitment Board, Chennai, the fourth respondent herein, and directing the fourth respondent to recruit, appoint and post the petitioner in the existing 5596 post of B.T. Assistants to be recruited grant an order, directing the respondents to reserve one B.T. Assistant Post vacant out of 5596 posts of B.T. ORDER
The petitioner has come up with this writ petition to direct the 3rd respondent to forward the petitioner's name to the post of B.T. Assistant and for consequential relief. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2. Upon notice, the 3rd respondent has filed a detailed counter affidavit dated 12.08.2011, wherein it is specifically stated as under :- "It is submitted that the petitioner has requested to consider her name for nomination against Post Graduate Assistant (Tamil) vacancies, as and when recruitment is made by 4th respondent (i.e.
Teacher's Recruitment Board, Chennai). It is submitted that her request will be examined according to communal reservation and seniority in registration for nomination of P.G. Teacher (Tamil) vacancy".
3. Recording the averments so made in the counter affidavit filed by the 3rd respondent, this Writ Petition stands disposed of, directing the 3rd respondent to consider the name of the petitioner as and when recruitment is made by the 4th respondent, as per the existing rules. No costs.
