O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the Respondents 1 to 3 to provide police protection to the 4th Respondent, while erecting the power line from Sundangipalayam Village to the Petitioner's poultry farm by considering his representation dated 02.02.2022.

2.Learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the Petitioner has proposed to establish a poultry farm and therefore, he made an application in No.200041881021304 before the 4th Respondent, seeking an electricity connection to run the said farm on 11.10.2021. The 4th Respondent after receipt of the said application had inspected the route to lay the power line and he has also commenced the work to erect power line. At that time, some people belonging to Sundangipalayam Village made objections for erecting the power line to the poultry farm. In this regard, the 4th Respondent also made a complaint to the 3rd Respondent seeking for police protection.

3.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that it seems some objections were raised by the villagers in the area to erect the power line. He would further submit that if the 4th Respondent fixes the date and requests for police protection, the same will be considered by the 3rd Respondent. 4.Recording the above said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, direction is issued to the 3rd Respondent to provide protection for erecting the power lines on the date fixed by the 4th Respondent.

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
