This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner's family.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 2 to 5 submitted that the petitioner is residing in Bangalore.

3. In view of the above, police protection cannot be granted since the petitioner is residing in Bangalore. Therefore, the writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
