When the matter was taken up for hearing on 17.07.2020 and 18.08.2020, the learned counsel for the petitioner represented that the petitioner is no more and he has already filed a Substitution petition to bring on record the legal representatives of the deceased petitioner. Hence, this Court by order dated 18.08.2020, directed the Registry to verify as to whether the Substitution Petition is filed, number the same and list the same along with this writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing there is no representation for the petitioner and the Registry has made an endorsement that the Substitution Petition is not filed.

3.On perusal of the records, it is seen that the petitioner is no more and his legal representatives have not filed any Substitution Petition as on date. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed as abated. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
