ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the Respondents to consider the petitioner representation dated 21.12.2023 and disburse his service benefits a sum of Rs 11,53,828/- like EPF, Gratuity, Earned leave Salary, Safety Deposit, revised balance provident Fund amount, Scale of pay pension / and other service benefits for which together with interest at the rate of 12 % p.a. the petitioner is entitled to forthwith.
2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3. The petitioner had worked as Senior Clerk under the fourth
respondent and retired from service on 30.06.2015. However, he was not paid with the retirement benefits so far. Therefore, the petitioner submitted representation seeking disbursal of his retirement benefits. In fact, the Assistant Commissioner of Labour, Trichy, by an order dated 01.08.2016 and the order passed by the Labour Court, Trichy dated 10.04.2018 allowed his retirement benefits.
4. The learned counsel for the respondent submitted that so far, the petitioner was paid with a sum of Rs.5,80,000/- and Rs.6,17,055/- is pending.
5. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, the fourth respondent is directed to disburse the balance terminal benefits to the petitioner with applicable interest, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There
shall be no order as to costs.
