O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed in the nature of writ of Mandamus seeking a direction to the first to third respondents to permit the petitioner and his agnates to perform the Temple festival for "Arulmigu Sri Angalamman Thiru Kovil" situated in T.S. No. 128, Ward J, Block - 9, East Street-3 Johnson Nagar, Hasthampatti, Salem-7 from 18.02.2023 to 21.02.2023 based on the representation of the petitioner dated 10.01.2023.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner has made a submission that the Temple festival has been conducted and he has made an endorsement to that effect in the court record, which is 2/5
extracted below:- "The petitioner submits that pursuant to the orders of this Court made in WMP No.3857 of 2023 in WP No. 3790 of 2023 dated 16.02.2023, temple was opened and poojas were also performed in a peaceful manner on 18.02.2023 to 20.02.2023 and as such, the writ petition prayer has become infructuous and may be permitted to be withdrawn and obliged."
The learned counsel appearing for the respondents 4 to 8 also confirmed the same. In view of the same, no further orders are required to be passed in the writ petition.
