ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking to direct the 3rd respondent to release the quantum of fixed compensation for the acquisition of the petitioner's land comprised in Survey No.427/2 at Air Force Nagar, No.39, Morai, Veerapuram Village, Ambattur Taluk, Tiruvallur District.

2. It is the case of the writ petitioner that the petitioner's land has been acquired by the third respondent for a meagre amount, hence, representation has been filed before the respondents to release the quantum of fixed compensation for claiming enhancement of compensation, which is pending without direction. Hence, seeks direction.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record. Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court directs the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.09.2023 and passing appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law with regard to release of compensation, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. 2/4
