O R D E R
The petitioner was engaged as Mazdoor by the Tamilnadu Electricity Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited. The initial engagement was in 2003. The petitioner has been continuously engaged by the Corporation. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the respondents have not taken any action to absorb him in service. The petitioner submitted a representation on 20.11.2012, requesting the second respondent to absorb him in service. Since follow up action was not taken by the said respondent, the petitioner is before this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel on behalf of the respondents.
3. The second respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 20.11.2012 on merits and as per law and taking into account his continuous service born out by records.. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. The petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the representation dated 20.11.2012 along with a copy of this order so as enable the second respondent to take a decision in the matter as expeditiously as possible.
5. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
