Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the entire records relating to the impugned order passed by the 3rd respondent in his proceedings No.Nil, dated 26.04.2010 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to disburse the subsistence allowance to the petitioner as per law.

At the previous hearings, the learned counsel for the Petitioner did not login, but the learned counsel for the Respondents was present and submitted that the writ petition pertains to an enquiry in the year 2010 against the Petitioner. Subsequently thereto, it was submitted that the disciplinary proceedings against the Petitioner were concluded and punishment was imposed on the Petitioner. On that basis, the learned counsel for the Respondents submitted that the writ petition is infructuous. The matter was adjourned today in order to provide a final opportunity to the Petitioner. Once again, no one has logged in on behalf of the Petitioner.
2. In light of the relief prayed for in this writ petition, in my view, no useful purpose would be served by keeping this writ petition pending. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous and also on account of non-appearance of the Petitioner. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
