O R D E R

The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to issue patta in the name of the petitioner for the property bearing old Survey No.3/4B New Survey No.3/4B2A to an 1/4

extent of 1320 sq.ft. situated at Valayampattu Village, Vaniyambadi Taluk, Tirupattur District.

2. In respect of property at Old Survey No.3/4B New Survey No.3/ 4B2A to an extent of 1320 sq.ft. situated at Valayampattu Village, Vaniyambadi Taluk, Tirupattur District, the petitioner claimed patta therefore he has given an application on 24.08.2022 followed by representation dated 16.12.2022 to both the 1st and 2nd respondents, however so far since the same has not been considered, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition.

3. Heard Mr.S.Gopinath, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents would submit that, the said application submitted by the petitioner dated 16.12.2022 would be considered on merits and in accordance with law and a decision would be taken thereon within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

Considering the said submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following orders: There shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 24.08.2022 followed by representation dated 16.12.2022 and pass necessary orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
