C.M.P No.2924 of 2021 in A.S.No.94944 of 2020 DR.G.JAYACHANDRAN,J., Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, who wants an exemption from appearing before the Hon'ble Court to present the application to file the first appeal as an indigent person.

2.This Court is conscious of the fact that purpose of being present and give a sworn statement about the pauperism cannot be dispensed with for the reason, if the sworn statement given by the petitioner later found to be false, she will be hold upon for perjury. Therefore, exemption cannot be granted.

Hence, the petition in C.M.P.No.2924 of 2021, seeking exemption for personal appearance is dismissed.
