O R D E R

Petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition seeking a direction to the Respondents to implement the order dated 24.08.1998 passed by the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal in O.A.No.2992 of 1994.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate appearing for the Respondents drew the attention of this Court to paragraph 12 of the common counter Affidavit filed by the Respondents, and submitted that, pursuant to the order dated 24.08.1998 passed by the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal in O.A.No.2992 of 1994, this Court, by a judgment dated 11.11.2005 in C.P.No.788 of 2005 in W.P.No.4518 of 2005 and W.P.No.30982 of 2005, disposed of the Writ Petitions and the Contempt Petition. In order to implement the said judgment passed by this Court, the Government passed G.O.Ms.No.203, School Education (V1) Department, dated 19.10.2006, whereby, the Petitioner's relief has been granted.

As the Petitioner's relief has been granted and now that, he has retired from service, nothing further survives for consideration in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
