O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioners and their family, by way of threatening them to execute the bond for good behavior before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Krishnagiri.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that there were some cases pending as against the petitioners and after full trial, they were acquitted in those cases. Now the respondent police threatening the petitioners to execute the bond for good behavior before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Krishnagiri. Therefore, the present petition has been filed.

3. In response, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioners are history sheeters in H.S.No.45 2/4

of 2014 and H.S.No.42 of 2014 respectively. He further submitted only in connection with the pending history sheets, the petitioners were called for enquiry as a routine check. If the petitioners have been acquitted in the criminal cases pending against them, they can move before the competent authority for removal of their names from the History Sheet.

4. Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Court directs the petitioners to take appropriate steps for removal of their names from the history sheet. Therefore, no further orders is required in this case.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
