O R D E R
The prayer in the present petition is to transfer the investigation from third respondent to fourth respondent in Cr.No.226 of 2017 dated 07.04.2017
2. The petitioner has made several allegations against the Investigation Officer, who had conducted investigation in Cr.Nos.226 of 2017 and 227 of 2017. The grievance of the petitioner is that though there are many incriminating materials available, the complaint came to be closed by the Investigation Officer, i.e., Inspector of Police, Central Police Station, Tiruppur City.
3. Today, when the matter was called learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that Mr.Thennarasu, Inspector of Police, South Police Station, Tiruppur City has taken charge of the investigation in Crime Nos. 226 of 2017 & 227of 2017.
4. In view of the aforesaid submission, the petitioner cannot have any grievance, if the further investigation is conducted by fresh Investigation Officer. At this stage, learned counsel for the impleaded fifth respondent, Gowtham, son of the deceased, submitted that there are some CCTV footages in the hard disc which is in the possession of the petitioner, which would throw light on the investigation to be conducted.
5. It is pointed out that both the impleaded fifth respondent as well as the petitioner herein shall cooperate with the investigation officer during the course of investigation. Further, it is made clear that the investigation shall be completed within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
