This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to call for the records on the file of Respondent 5 in respect of notification No.F.No.9/33/2003-BO1 dated 12.07.2010 and quash the same and set aside the appointment of Respondent No.1 as Officer Employee Director of Syndicate Bank and direct Page No.2 of 6
the respondent No.5 to call for the application of this petitioner and consider the same for the post of Officer Employee Director.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, there was no representation for the petitioner. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 submitted that the writ petition is filed to set aside the appointment of the first respondent as the Officer Employee Director of Syndicate Bank and he further submitted that the first respondent has superannuated in the month of July 2013 and the age of the petitioner on the date of filing this writ petition is 57 years and the retirement age is 60 years. Hence, the matter has become infructuous and nothing survives for further adjudication.
3. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 4, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
