The petitioner/accused seeks a direction for disposal of his bail petition on the same day by the learned Special Judge under SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act , Coimbatore. 2.
Petitioner is accused of having committed offences under Sections 294 B, 323, 506(ii) IPC r/w section 3(1)(v), 3(1)(w), 3(2)(va) of Prevention of (SC & ST) Atrocities Act and TOA Amendment Ordinance 201 and Sec. 4 of Tamil Nadu Prevention of Woman Harassment Act on the file of the respondent.
3. There is allegation of commission of offence under the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. Section 18 of the Act is a bar to grant anticipatory bail.
4. In the facts and circumstances, the petition is ordered as under: (i) The petitioner shall surrender before the learned Special Judge , SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Ac, Coimbatore within fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
