This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation and to file a final report in Crime No.1832 of 2019, pending on the file of the respondent Police. 1/4
2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the respondent has registered a case in Crime No.1832 of 2019, no final report has been filed till date. Hence, the present petition has been filed.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent has registered the First Information Report in Crime No.1832 of 2019, in which, the investigation is under progress. Hence, he seeks two months time to file a final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate Court.
4. Recording the same, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file the final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate Court concerned, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the de-facto complainant.
5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
