Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to (i) To further extend the time limit for a period of minimum 1 year and to identify a prospective buyer to settle the outstanding liability and to negotiable with the bank for one time settlement on the condition imposed by this Court on the petitioner in Crl.M.P.No.4817 of 2020 in Crl.A.No.73 of 2020 by its order dated 21.08.2020.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.K.R.RAMESH KUMAR, Advocate for the petitioner, and of MR.K.SRINIVASAN, Special Public Prosecutor for CBI-cases, on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed seeking for further extension of time for a minimum period of one year and to identify a prospective buyer to settle the outstanding liability and to negotiate with the Bank for one time settlement on the condition imposed by this Court on the petitioner in Crl.M.P.No.1472 of 2020 in Crl.A.No.73 of 2020 by its order dated 10.02.2020.

2.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is taking sincere and effective steps to dispose off the property as per the undertaking given before this Court and however due to the present Pandemic situation, the rate https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of the property has gone down by 40% and due to the crunch in the market no buyers are prepared to purchase the property and thereby he would seek for extension of further time.

3.Mr.K.Srinivasan, learned Special Public Prosecutor (CBI Cases) would submit that nothing has been stated in the affidavit to show that any steps have been taken by the petitioner to dispose off the property.

4.Though this Court is not satisfied with the affidavit filed by the petitioner seeking extension of time, taking into consideration the present Pandemic situation, a further period of six months is extended to the petitioner from 01.03.2021 to comply with the order of this Court dated 10.02.2020 in Crl.M.P.No.1472 of 2020 in Crl.A.No.73 of 2020, failing to comply with the undertaking affidavit, the bail granted by this Court shall stand automatically vacated without any further reference to the Court. -sd/- 22/02/2021 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
