Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider and pass orders on the Appeal dated 21.11.2022 given by the petitioner with regard to the illegal inclusion of the name of the third party in the joint patta in Patta No. 792 pertaining to Survey No.61/1A1 Keezhmuttukur Village K.V.Kuppam Taluk Vellore District within a time frame to be fixed by this Honorable Court.

The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the Petitioner's Online Application for Transfer of Patta registered as Application No.2022/0103/217770 dated 29/11/2022 01.34.40 with 1 / 4
reference to the relevant records and pass appropriate orders for transfer of patta in his name as requested in the said Application within a time limit to be fixed by this Court.
2.In respect of the petitioner's lands in Survey Nos.12/3A, 9/2, 12/3B, 14/11B, 25/9B, 95/1A, 95/1C and 25/2B situated at Veerasingankuppam Village, Panruti Taluk, Cuddalore District, the petitioner had submitted an online application on 29.11.2022 to the respondent for issuance of patta. Since the same has not yet been considered, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition.
3. Heard Mr.P.Rajendran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent.
4. Learned Special Government Pleader submits that the said application submitted by the petitioner would be considered on merits and necessary orders would be passed within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. Considering the said submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, there shall be a direction to the respondent to decide the consider the application dated 29.11.2022 submitted by the petitioner and pass 2 / 4
orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
